Youth Program Supervisor
Full-time
Hours: 40 hours/week, some evenings, and weekends Pay rate: $60,000- $70,000 contingent on experience
Overview:
We Are Better Together Warren Daniel Hairston Project Inc. (WAB2G) is a non-profit organization founded by Ruth Rollins in 2017. The organization engages and empowers individuals on both sides of gun violence in the peacemaking process, fostering healing and unity in the community. The Youth Program Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of youth programs in alignment with WAB2G’s mission.
Position Summary:
The Youth Program Supervisor will supervise the Youth Program staff (Manager/ Coordinator(s); volunteers) and collaborate with the Director of Programs to ensure the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of youth-focused initiatives. This role is instrumental in driving the
strategic direction and operational success of WAB2G’s youth programs. to include driving the strategy to fund support of the Youth Programs including taking a lead in writing of grants. The Youth Supervisor will be an integral part of the leadership management team of the WAB2G organization and as such a part of responsibilities will include contributing to the facilitation and delivery as needed for adult caregiver and six-part healing series case management activities as outreach for the organizations overall programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of youth programs to include Y-LIPSTICK and E.P.
- Ensure programs are delivered in an age appropriate trauma-informed, culturally sensitive manner.
- Evaluate and improve program processes to meet organizational
- Support organization by providing case management activities as needed for adult
● Team Supervision:
- Supervise and mentor Youth Program staff (Manager/Coordinator(s).)
- Facilitate regular team meetings and professional development
- Provide guidance and support to ensure cohesive program
● Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs to develop long-term strategies for youth
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance program
- Monitor and assess program performance against established
- Identify and deliver funding opportunities and write grants to support the youth
- As part of the holistic leadership management team provide input on case management activities for adult programs.
● Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, education, psychology, or a related
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth program management, preferably in a community-based
- Strong leadership and team management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and virtual platforms such as
